What retirement planning with Rose Wealth includes

A retirement plan is more than an investment mix. We look at how the pieces work together so you can make decisions with a clearer view of the road ahead.

Retirement income planning

We help you think through where your monthly income may come from, such as savings, pensions, Social Security, and other sources, and how much you may be able to spend.

Social Security timing

When you claim can affect your benefit for the rest of your life. We walk through the options and how they fit with your overall plan and your spouse's.

IRAs, 401(k)s, and rollovers

If you have an old employer plan, we can explain your options, including leaving it in place, rolling it over, or other choices, along with the costs and tradeoffs of each.

Tax-aware planning

The order in which you draw from different accounts can influence the taxes you pay. We coordinate with your tax professional so your plan considers the tax picture.

Managing risk

Market declines, inflation, rising health costs, and living a long time are all part of retirement. We discuss these risks openly and plan with them in mind.

Legacy and protection

We help you consider how your plan supports your family, including beneficiary designations and the protection strategies that may fit your situation.

How your retirement plan comes together

A clear process, so you know what to expect at every stage.

  1. Discover

We learn what retirement looks like to you: when, where, and how you want to live, and what worries you most.

  2. Analyze

We review your accounts, income sources, expenses, and goals, and show you where you stand today.

  3. Recommend

We present a strategy built around your objectives and explain the reasoning, costs, and risks in plain language.

  4. Stay on track

We meet regularly to review progress and adjust your plan as markets, laws, and your life change.

Common retirement planning questions

When should I start planning for retirement?

The earlier you plan, the more options you generally have. Many people begin a more detailed plan in the five to ten years before they expect to retire, because decisions about savings, Social Security, and health coverage start to matter more. It is rarely too late to improve your picture.

How much do I need to retire?

There is no single number. It depends on your spending, other income sources, health, taxes, and goals. A personalized plan estimates what you may need and tests it against different scenarios. Projections are estimates and are not guarantees.

What happens to my old 401(k) when I retire?

You typically have several choices, including leaving the money in your former employer's plan, rolling it to an IRA, moving it to a new employer's plan, or taking a distribution. Each has different costs, investment options, and tax considerations. We can help you compare them before you decide.

How do I know my money will last?

No one can promise that. What we can do is build a plan based on reasonable assumptions, review it regularly, and adjust as your circumstances and the markets change.

What does it cost to work with Rose Wealth?

Our fees depend on the services you choose and are described in our Form ADV Part 2A and Form CRS. We will explain them before you decide to work with us.
